Also, being an offbeat attraction, reaching Sothavilai Beach can be a bit difficult. It is best to have a map of the place with you to help you reach the beach.

This beautiful beach is lined with majestic coconut groves against a vast golden coastline and indigo blue waters. The Thengapattinam Beach is one of the most popular beaches of Kanyakumari. People come from all over Tamil Nadu to the Thengapattinam Beach to view the convergence spot of the Tamiraparani River with the roaring Arabian Sea. However, it is not recommended to visit the Thengapattinam Beach during the peak tourism season in Kanyakumari (November to January) as it is often overcrowded owing to its picturesque scenery and environment.
