The famous  Bhalukpong fort was built in the tenth century and boasts of the rich traditional and historical glory of the place. Although Bhalukpong fort is not in an excellent condition now, its historical significance draws a lot of attention. It was constructed on the banks of Bharali River by then king Bhaluka. The Bhalukpong fort has few remains in the form of stone blocks and bricks on the slope of the hillock. The pond and well of bricks are still there in its premises.
