About Wards Lake-

Wards Lake is one of the most visited and popular destinations in Shillong. Wards lake is an artificial lake which is surrounded by a lovely garden and is a highly picturesque tourist destination in Shillong. The lake’s shape is that of a Horseshoe, where one can just relax and recreate and enjoy the beautiful garden and the flowerbeds. Ward lake has been named after Sir William Ward, who initiated the construction of this lake. The lake has a wooden bridge in the middle, from where the astounding views of the Lake can be seen, and along with this, people can also enjoy feeding the fishes too.

3. All Saints Church – All Saints church is one of the oldest churches in Shillong. The church was built during the British Raj in India and got destructed because of an earthquake. However, it was later reconstructed and is now the main church in Shillong. The architecture of the church dates back to colonial times, having an attractive wooden structure. Daily prayers are held at the church, with maximum footfall on Sundays. A place which is perfect for peace and seeking blessings.

4. Bishop Falls – Bishop Falls is a three-tiered waterfall having a height of more than 400 feet.
