Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya built the palace in 1901 A.D. It is a two-storied palace with amazing architecture with three high domes and beautifully carved wooden ceiling, and well-crafted doors are an exciting sight. The floodlights at the palace add to the attraction of this palace. It served as the Tripura Legislative Assembly meeting place until 2011 and now a very well known tourist spot. The palace is surrounded by virgin greens and is surrounded by many temples in the place. The museum displays the lifestyle, art, culture, and tradition and the customs of different communities.
