Visit Museum of Bee and Honey, 13 Kms South of Rhodes Island (2024)

Museum of Bee and Honey is 13 km south of Rhodes island. The museum exhibits several types of colorful bees. The building that hosts the museum is well decorated and honeycomb-shaped. The interior construction helps to move visitors rapidly through the different sections. There are several exhibitions of different types of bees collected from several other Greece islands, few exhibits also show the bee collected from the main island of Greece. Some of the exhibits of the museum display the life cycle of several types of bees. Few exhibits relate the bee life cycle to ancient history and mythological beliefs. The artifacts that include 5,500 BC potteries that were used to store honey.
