2. Imphal War Cemetry

5. Sacred Jackfruit Tree

This historical site in Manipur is of great importance due to its religious belief and use. The tree growing on the small hill of Kaina was used in carving Images of Lord Krishna. A total of seven images were carved from this tree and placed in different temples. One of those temples is a very famous temple in Imphal Shree Govindajee Temple, where the first image carved was placed.

6. Kangla Fort

 Kangla palace or Kangla Fort is situated on the banks of the Imphal river is an ancient and heritage palace of Manipur. A very important historical site in Manipur’s history as the Kingdom of Manipur was established and developed at Kangla. It opened to the public in 2003. 7. Loktak Lake

It is the largest freshwater lake and is famous for its Floating islands called Phumdis. World’s only floating National park Keibil Lamjao is located here.
