Muradie Mosque in Vlore: One of the Best Places to Visit in Albania (2023)

Muradie Mosque is about a kilometer from the Independence Monument of Vlore. Most visitors visit both places on a ½ day tour.

The Muradie mosque was built in 1537 by Ottoman Turkish architect known as Mimar Sinan and is one of the best places to visit in Albania.

The mosque has a dome with a supporting polygon raised base, arched windows and classical triangular forms topping the side walls.

The brick work of the Muradie mosque has layers with two different brick colors.
