11. Margaret Island

Margaret Island in Budapest is about a 5.5 km drive from Parliament Building. The 2.5 km long island occupies the middle of the Danube river. The island is the longest and most beautiful park that is used as recreational facilities for local as well as tourist population. Tourists can participate in water sport as well as practice a few golf strokes on the island.

Visitors can rent a pedal cart, small boat, canoe, small electric vehicle, and golf set. Few tourists and locals also run along the 5.5 km running track. Most come to relax, walk, and see the Budapest town on both the side from the middle of the river. There are restaurants, gift shops, and a hotel on the island.
